The right to privacy is an integral human right recognised and protected in the South African Constitution and in the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”).

Bespoke Skin Solutions respects the privacy of all personal data and private information collected, processed,and stored. As such, we undertake to handle all personal information received and processed with due care and provide the necessary security to safeguard all information held by us.

Bespoke Skin Solutinos uses cookies, pixels, and other technologies (collectively referred to as “cookies”) to recognize your browser or device, learn more about you, and provide you with essential features and services, as well as for additional purposes, including:

Your privacy is important to Bespoke Skin Solutions. This policy explains Bespoke Skin Solution’s privacy practices and the choices you have about the way your personal information will be dealt with. All practices are in line with the provisions of Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Bespoke Skin Solutions recognises that you have the following rights:

1.) The Right to be Informed

1. You have the right to be informed when your personal information is collected, processed and stored, the type of information collected and the purposes for which it is collected, processed and stored.
   
   
2. You are hereby notified that your personal information is being collected by Bespoke Skin Solutions when you contact us via WhatsApp, E-mail Adress, the Contact Us Form on the Website, by making an online booking and/or by filling out the consultation form.
   
   
3. The personal information that we can collect, process and store is the following:
   • Name & Surname
   • Contact Number
   • Identity Number
   • Physical Address
   • Email Address
   • Photos (taken by Bespoke Skin Solutions or sent by you on WhatsApp)
   • Medical Information
     
     
4. Your Personal information is used only for the purpose for which it was collected. These purposes include the following:
   • Billing
   • Scheduling of Appointments
   • Marketing Purposes (if consented thereto)
   • Skin Advice
   • Research
   • Follow up on Consultations
   • Delivery of products
     
     
5. Bespoke Skin Solutions will inform you where we have reasonable grounds to believe that your personal information has been accessed or acquired by an unauthorised person.
   
   
6. You further have the right to be informed whether your information is disclosed to third parties.
   • Bespoke Skin Solutions will never, unless lawfully required or with your consent disclose your information to third parties.
   • Please note your personal information may be disclosed in special situations where Bespoke Skin Solutions has reason to believe that doing so is necessary to identity or act against anyone damaging or interfering with our rights or property, users, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities.
   • Bespoke Skin Solutions may engage third parties to provide you with goods or services on our behalf and in such circumstances may disclose your personal information to such parties in order to provide such goods and services.

2) The right to access of personal information

You have the right to request access to your personal information which is stored by Bespoke Skin Solution.

You can submit your request by first completing form, 02 available at PAIA Forms – Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za) and sending such request through to anchen@bespokeskinsolutions.co.za

Please note that Bespoke Skin Solution have the right to deny your request for access.

3) The Right to have Personal Information Corrected or Deleted

You have the right to request, where necessary, that your personal information must be corrected, or deleted where Bespoke Skin Solutions is no longer authorised to retain the personal information.

Please note that Bespoke Skin Solutions may retain your personal information for 5 years, after you have informed us that you no longer wish to be a client for research purposes.

4) The Right to Object to the Processing of Personal Information

The data subject has the right, on reasonable grounds, to object to the processing of his, her or its personal information. In such circumstances, Bespoke Skin Solutions will give due consideration to the request and the requirements of POPIA. Bespoke Skin Solutions may cease to use or disclose the data subject’s personal information and may, subject to any statutory and contractual record keeping requirements, also approve the destruction of the personal information.

5) The Right to Object to Direct Marketing

The data subject has the right to object to the processing of his, her or its personal information for purposes of direct marketing by means of unsolicited electronic communications.

Once you have subscribed, you can unsubscribe by using the link on the marketing email received, alternatively by requesting to anchen@bespokeskinsolutions.co.za that you be removed from the mailing list.

6) The Right to Complain to the Information Regulator

You have the right to submit a complaint to the Information Regulator regarding an alleged infringement of any of the rights protected under POPIA and to institute civil proceedings regarding the alleged non-compliance with the protection your personal information.

 

INFORMATION SECURITY ON OUR WEBSITE:

1. 1. Any information that you upload on our website will be stored on a secure server and be used for limited purposes such as future communications (which you are always entitled to un-subscribe to.
   2. Bespoke Skin Solutions will not disclose, sell, rent, or disseminate your personal information to third parties without your consent unless we are compelled to do so by law. Bespoke Skin Solution may also do so if you have granted consent thereto.
   3. While all reasonable efforts are taken to ensure that your personal information is protected as it travels over the internet, Bespoke Skin Solutions cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information you exchange with us due to reason beyond our control.
   4. The Company may use cookies and web beacons to facilitate improvement of our website. However, neither cookies nor web beacons collect personal information such as the user’s name or email address. You may reject cookies, as most browsers permit individuals to decline same.
