Micro-needling to the face & neck
with 1 mesotherapy infusion
Collagen Induction therapy (micro-needling) creates a controlled injury to the skin at an exact and safe angle of 90degrees with a controlled depth determined by the therapist performing the treatment. This trauma inflicted in the epidermis or dermis initiates a wound healing and growth factor release, leading to new collagen production and deposition in the upper papillary dermis. The micro-channels that are created in the skin increases the penetration of all actives more rapidly into the deeper layers of the skin. This makes the treatment versatile to treat various conditions depending on the depth worked at and the meso-infusion that is chosen to be needled into the skin.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Before: The skin will be properly prepped 14 days prior to the treatment to ensure safety and to minimalize risks.
During: In-office we will always numb the skin with a Lidocaine preparation. Depending on the depth the treatment might be uncomfortable and or minimally painful. Accompanying products to feed, protect, transforms and repair the skin will be used in accordance to your skin concerns or goals.
After: Immediately post treatment your skin will feel inflamed and “sunburnt”. This sensation will last about 24hours. The diffuse redness and inflammation will last around 48 – 72 hours at most. This will all depend on the depth of the treatment. Tightness, dryness and in some instances flaking can be expected for about 3 to 7 days at most post treatment. Keep your skin hydrated and protected at all times during this period.
Micro-needling is ideally indicated for:
